HR Generalist (SHRM-Certified)

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations across employee relations, compliance, onboarding, workforce administration, policy implementation, and HR support functions. This role partners closely with leadership, recruiting, and operations teams to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with 3–7 years of experience and a strong foundation in employee relations, HR operations, and compliance within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support employee relations matters, including coaching, policy interpretation, performance discussions, and corrective actions
• Assist with HR compliance initiatives, leave administration, and adherence to employment laws and company policies
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and workforce changes
• Maintain HR records, reporting, HRIS updates, and audit-ready documentation
• Partner with leadership and recruiting teams to support hiring, retention, and employee engagement efforts
• Help develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and operational workflows
• Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR programs
• Support training initiatives and employee communications across the organization

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of HR Generalist, HR Operations, or Employee Relations experience
• SHRM certification required (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred)
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices
• Experience handling sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

• Experience in staffing, contractor, or multi-site workforce environments
• Experience supporting fast-paced or high-growth organizations
• HRCI certification is a plus
