Description:
We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a highly regarded behavioral health program.
This is a fantastic opportunity for psychiatrists with training or a strong interest in geriatric psychiatry.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for older adults in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Provide inpatient psychiatric care for geriatric patients in a 20-bed unit.
Collaborate with a full-time Clinical Coordinator/Social Worker trained in geriatric psychiatry.
Work within a multidisciplinary team of therapists, counselors, case managers, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners.
Participate in a weekend call rotation for inpatient coverage.
Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care that addresses the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of older adults.
Coordinate care with behavioral health leadership and resources.
Support a stable, full-time psychiatrist presence on the unit.
Candidates must have clean malpractice and license history.
Candidates with lapsed Board Certification will not be accepted.
