Job Opportunity

Position: Medical Assistant

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

This position primarily focuses on providing clinical support in a Family Medicine practice, while occasionally assisting with front-office duties including:

Patient check-in/check-out
Phone coverage
Scheduling
Managing patient messages
Supporting clinic flow as needed

Requirements

License: MA-C required (MA-R not accepted)
Experience: 6 months clinical experience required
Certifications: BLS, MA-C
Skills:
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology
- Proficient in using Epic charting system
- Ability to perform various clinical tasks, such as obtaining vital signs, processing lab specimens, and administering immunizations
Transportation: Candidate must have reliable transportation

Additional Information

Travelers: Local or traveling candidates are welcome to apply
Floating: Traveler may be required to float between nearby sister facilities as needed
Holidays: Commitment to work 3 out of 5 main holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Orientation: Hours and modules are provided pre-start and may vary by specialty
Location: Position available in an Outpatient facility located in [City, State]
