Our engineers bring decades of combined experience — from R&D and rapid prototyping through full commercial productionThis position will be primarily responsible for receiving, in-process, and final inspection of medical device components used in and manufactured by NPX. This position will also be responsible for assisting in Quality investigations and testing as required.Responsibilities:Support and perform inspection and testing of materials and products from incoming material through final assembly, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standardsConduct visual, dimensional, and/or functional inspections of raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products in accordance with approved specifications and applicable quality standardsPerform duties with minimal to moderate supervisionUtilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., pin gages, calipers, MicroVu, laser micrometers, pull testers) to verify physical dimensions and product attributesVerify that all measurement equipment is within current calibration statusIdentify, document, and segregate nonconforming materialsComplete quality records, reports, and documentation in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices)Apply and follow established sampling plansParticipate in problem-solving activities and contribute to process and product evaluations for continuous improvementProvide data, analysis, and support to cross-functional teams as neededSupport site objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory
