This role requires in-depth knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, digital-first logistics environment. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with CBP regulations, manage broker filings, and drive automation and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily customs brokerage operations for high-volume e-commerce shipments, including HTS classification, entry filing, and release processes. Ensure compliance with all U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, as well as other government agency (OGA) requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, EPA, CPSC). Supervise and mentor a team of customs brokers, entry writers, and support staff. Liaise with clients, carriers, CBP, and other regulatory bodies to resolve clearance issues and respond to inquiries or holds. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and ensure compliance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance, compliance, and team productivity. Partner with technology and automation teams to integrate customs brokerage tools and systems to streamline operations. Provide classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determinations for imported goods.
