Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the symptoms, intensity, and duration of mood disorders among clients, ensuring comprehensive understanding for tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs, experience levels, and personal goals, integrating their feedback into therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing their mental health conditions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices through a compassionate, supportive approach.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and satisfaction.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that encompasses the various aspects of a client’s health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals coping with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will support a diverse clientele, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .
