Employment Details FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 3 (9:45 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Holidays: yes, Weekends: yes) Job Summary Providing security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics and parking structures. Concentrates on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Responding immediately to various levels of dispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigating unusual circumstances, assisting with de‑escalation, and enforcing security. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience 1 year of security experience or equivalent. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Training Proof of training in Froedtert-approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course within the previous three years or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire is required. Must complete National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS‑700 and the IC‑100 courses within six months of hire, have an FTO (Field Training Officer) program completed within 120 days, and be familiar with CCTV systems and operation is preferred. Special Skills Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, generate push‑pull force up to 100 lbs occasionally, climb stairs occasionally, and walk frequently. Ability to get up and down from the floor to standing independently. Licensure Valid driver’s license required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within three months of hire.
