Butterfly Home Care of Manassas is hiring caregivers and direct support team members for clients in Woodbridge, Dale City, Lake Ridge, Montclair, and surrounding eastern Prince William County areas.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working one-on-one with people, supporting daily routines, and helping clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable at home.

As a caregiver/direct support team member, you will provide non-medical support based on each client’s care plan. You may assist with personal care, daily living routines, companionship, safety supervision, documentation, and communication with the care team.

This role does not include skilled nursing or medical care. Team members receive direction and supervision from the Director of Nursing, office manager, scheduler, and/or assigned supervisor.

• Provide respectful, person-centered support in the client’s home or community

• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support as assigned

• Support daily routines including meal preparation, hygiene routines, light household tasks, and safe movement around the home

• Follow the assigned care plan or service plan

• Help maintain the client’s health, safety, comfort, and dignity

• Complete required documentation and EVV/timekeeping accurately

• Report changes in condition, concerns, incidents, care refusals, or schedule issues to the office

• Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA/privacy expectations

• Work independently while staying connected to supervisory staff

• Check and record vital signs only when required by the client’s care plan and permitted by training

• At least 18 years old

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Reliable transportation required

• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings

• TB screening/clearance documentation required after a conditional offer

• PCA certification, personal care training, or ability to complete required position-specific training

• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately

• Prior caregiver, DSP, CNA, PCA, HHA, companion, or personal care experience preferred

Team member pay may vary based on assignment, qualifications, type of work performed, availability, and approved differentials.

• Pay range: $15.00–$20.00 per hour

• Paid orientation and required training

• Additional differentials may apply for higher-support assignments, evening/weekend shifts, urgent coverage, or complex scheduling needs

All hours worked must be accurately reported. Overtime, when applicable, is calculated and paid according to applicable wage and hour laws.
