Med-Surg Adult Nurse

This position is primarily in a surgical department with some medical overlap due to bed availability to meet patient needs. Agency scheduling generally occurs for every other weekend, with flexibility for holiday requests. The unit consists of 35 private patient rooms and has two nurse stations. There is a shift supervisor present, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6 on night shift. Patient care technicians are available for each shift to assist with care. Candidates should possess the necessary licenses and certifications relevant to medical-surgical nursing. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Applicants should be prepared to provide quality care to a diverse patient population.
