Supervisor - Diagnostic Imaging

Job Title

Responsible for effective, efficient coordination and execution of daily imaging-related patient care activities in Breast Imaging.

Job Description

Accountable for the optimization of staff and pertinent supply chain resources. Functions as liaison with the radiologists, staff, and outpatient departments. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the processes and procedures relating to Breast Imaging services. Assists in formulating strategies for monitoring and assuring quality and quality improvement. Assures the provision of exemplary customer service. Establishes a work environment conducive to high staff engagement, participation, and morale. Maintains an effective management relationship within the department's leadership structure.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited medical imaging training program
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists --or-- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography --or-- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of experience in Breast Imaging specialty area

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: Advanced Licensure in one or more additional modalities
• 2 years of additional recent experience as a Lead Technologist or a related position
• 2 years of experience with another imaging modality
• Supervisory experience
• Experience leading a diverse team across multiple specialties
• Proven experience establishing, measuring and tracking performance metrics
