ZF-Foxconn Chassis Modules is your perfect choice!Position Summary:Production Supervisor I–Gen is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations of the plant’s assembly process.What you can look forward to as a Production Supervisor:First line production supervisor of 20-40 production employees.Create, manage, and report on employee schedules, absenteeism, and performance using internal systems and KPI’sMentors and develops line group leadersLead level 1 and participate in level 2 teams to establish and maintain all principles of the ZF Production SystemVerifies quality of work and documents adherence to standardized work through daily audits and document updatesCollects and enters real-time and historical data to drive performance metricsLeads daily start up meetings to present safety, quality, and performance topics to production employeesAssists operations team with establishing safety, quality, and productivity goals by participating in planning and driving initiatives on the shop floorEnsures routine maintenance of equipment is performed in accordance with principles of the ZF Production SystemEnsures that daily housekeeping duties are performed to advance the 5S principle as a foundation of the ZF Tuscaloosa manufacturing philosophyOversees proper performance of station start up and shut down proceduresPerforms first level troubleshooting activities of assembly line process deviations & issuesEnsures the quality of all materials and products is maintainedOther duties as it relates to this positionYour Profile as a Production Supervisor:High School Diploma or GED1-2+ years of work-related experienceWorking knowledge of plant and business unit procedures/processesAbility to perform in a fast-paced work environmentProven ability to work independently and lead professional staff (e.g. schedule daily tasks, prioritize, execute)Strong problem solving skills and the ability to lead activities through the use of 8D/5Why principlesProven time/project management skills while demonstrating the ability to produce results under constraints (e.g. time, budget, headcount, etc.)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Proven ability in methods of communication, motivation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in the English language.Preferred Skills and experience:High School Diploma or GED required; Technical degree preferred1-2+ years of work experience leading production teams.Must be able to work in a team environment and serve as a leader demonstrating vision, mission, core values, and key behaviorsTraining in 5S, LEAN, and other company required programs may be required.Why you should choose ZF Foxconn in South Carolina:Annual Incentive PlanPaid Time Off401k PlanHealth Care BenefitsPaid HolidaysA supportive collaborative team environmentA strong diversity cultureSupportive Employee Groups and community outreach activitiesBe part of our ZF Foxconn team and apply now!
