As a Security Officer Hospital Visitor Intake in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access and badges, support facility procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming experience for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front-desk access protocols in a healthcare setting.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor authorization as directed, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with directing patients and visitors to appropriate departments, answering general inquiries, and communicating professionally with facility staff.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing front-desk activity and reporting suspicious, unusual, or policy-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of required hospital vaccinations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
