What You'll Be Doing
As a top-level Electrical Technician, you'll be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and improving complex electromechanical systems that support advanced robotic printing technology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and optimize electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid systems
- Build and integrate control panels, wire harnesses, electrical cabinets, and test equipment
- Support the design and construction of test stands and infrastructure
- Diagnose and repair motors, actuators, pumps, valves, PLCs, and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Collect test data and work with engineers to improve system performance
- Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
- Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Use electrical testing equipment including multimeters and voltage meters
- Support prototype development and product validation for advanced robotic systems
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of electrical or electromechanical troubleshooting experience
- Strong experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems
- Experience working with 120V-480V electrical systems
- Knowledge of three-phase motors, control panels, PLCs, and HMIs
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience troubleshooting wiring, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies
- Familiarity with pumps, compressors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Comfortable using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a hands-on industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, startup, or R&D environments
Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field
Experience with high-voltage or high-current systems
Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
