Senior Trust Officer

About the Senior Trust Officer Role Our client is a privately held wealth management firm seeking an experienced Senior Trust Officer to join its growing trust team in Houston. The role serves as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of complex trust accounts, partnering closely with clients, beneficiaries, and outside advisors to deliver fiduciary service. This is a pure trust administration position with no business development or sales responsibilities. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Trust Officer Role Administer a portfolio of complex trust accounts for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with investable assets generally ranging from $10 million to over $100 million Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and other interested parties, delivering exceptional client service and relationship management Review trust documents and ensure proper administration in accordance with governing instruments, fiduciary standards, and applicable regulations Partner with clients' attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and other external professionals on trust and estate planning matters Assist with new client onboarding, trust account acceptance, and account transitions Coordinate with internal investment, tax, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless trust administration Identify and proactively address trust administration issues while maintaining the highest fiduciary standards Qualifications for the Senior Trust Officer 7+ years of personal trust administration experience for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients Experience administering sophisticated trust relationships for high-net-worth clients Strong knowledge of trust administration, fiduciary responsibilities, estate planning concepts, and applicable regulations Excellent relationship management, communication, and organizational skills Passionate about what you do and the impact you have!
