LVN - Med Surg

This is a backfill contract position for an LVN on a medical-surgical unit. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. The shift will be from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. There is no call requirement for this position. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of nursing experience to be considered. The unit has a total of 32 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1. Staff on the unit includes RNs, LVNs, and patient care technicians. Typical equipment used in the unit includes bladder scanners and vital sign machines. Electronic medical records are managed using Meditech. Candidates should demonstrate an openness to feedback and exhibit an owner mentality. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs with an identifiable logo. This role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced professionals.
