About the Position

Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Texas

Position Overview

• Urgent care coverage seeing pediatric and family medicine patients (up to age 21).
• Practice setting: Urgent care.

Schedule

• Hours of operation: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends.
• Minimum shifts per month: 6 to 10.

Clinical Scope

• Typical procedures may include incision and drainage and other common urgent care procedures.
• EMR: Experity.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board certified.
• PALS certification.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

• This is a local assignment. Travel and lodging are not provided.
