Position Summary This position is responsible for business application configuration, setup, maintenance, testing, analysis and troubleshooting in support of a comprehensive suite of FRFS products, including Fedwire Funds and Securities. The Sr. Systems Configuration Analyst demonstrates an advanced understanding of business application systems supporting multiple Federal Reserve’s financial services offerings. The role includes setting up routine to complex processing and accounting relationships for thousands of financial institutions within these systems, providing complex operational and technical support, and serving as a primary resource for troubleshooting or solving complex application and operational problems. The position will be primarily on-site with residency commutable to one of our offices. Key Responsibilities Independently coordinate and perform business application configuration, setup, maintenance, testing, analysis and troubleshooting in various Federal Reserve systems such as accounting and settlement agreements, correspondent/respondent relationship agreements, mergers, retired and failed financial institutions for Fedwire Funds and Securities payment services. This involves due diligence, business application systems research and analysis, processing, accounting and settlement configuration and testing, internal and external stakeholder follow-up, and hosting conference calls to analyze, verify and confirm requested application and accounting system configuration changes in all applicable systems. Serve as a primary point of contact for the customer and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing timely support throughout the process. Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and objectives. May lead on special projects or assignments that require advanced analytical and/or project management skills and technical acumen. Meet established service level agreements and quality measures. Resolve complex issues related to customer setup, researching and documenting the issue, evaluating severity, determining corrective action, and escalating to the appropriate level. Respond to Depository Institution cyber incidents as the subject matter expert, providing details regarding financial institution processing and settlement relationship configuration and executing necessary actions to disable or restore services. Resolve connectivity issues, file formatting issues, and set up related problems. Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced staff, administer cross‑training, develop training plans and materials, and provide consultation and training to other internal stakeholders as needed. Participate in or lead various projects or workgroups to collaborate on improvement initiatives, including hosting meetings, developing agendas, creating presentations, documenting business requirements, complying with procedures and processes, and conducting user acceptance testing. Maintain department procedures to ensure they are updated as processes change and new automation or tools are tested and implemented. Assist with coordination and provide technical guidance and support for critical testing activities such as Business Continuity, Protracted Outage Industry Testing, Operational Readiness, Contingency, and application conversions or enhancements. Provide phone support for customers during the test, perform system updates in the test environment for customer profiles, obtain attestations from customers, and report status updates. All applicants must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) years. All employees assigned to this position will be subject to FBI fingerprint/ criminal background and Patriot Act/ Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) watch list checks at least once every five years. For this job, any offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a two‑phase security screening.
