Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Summary Seeking a qualified and experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care within the Interventional Radiology department. Key Responsibilities Perform image‑guided procedures in Interventional Radiology, CT, and Ultrasound. Administer care during procedures involving catheters, stents, and IV pumps. Assist with MRI procedures including anesthesia and pacemaker observation. Monitor patients during invasive procedures. Adhere to unit guidelines and policies to ensure patient safety and quality care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation within the EMR system. Schedule / Shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. One day of call throughout the week. Every 3rd weekend on call. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital RN experience. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Strong patient care experience. Experience Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital RN experience. Prior travel experience to large trauma facilities is preferred. Medical Imaging experience is highly preferred. Skills Ability to perform image‑guided procedures, including invasive procedures in IR, CT, and Ultrasound. Proficiency in assisting with MRI procedures involving anesthesia and pacemaker observation. Competent in the use of fluoroscopy suites, catheters, stents, and IV pumps. Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) EMR / Systems Meditech CPN Unit / Specialty Interventional Radiology Patient Population Adults and potentially pediatric patients requiring image‑guided procedures.
