Authorization Coordinator

Job TitleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and industry knowledge to effectively coordinate authorizations.Required Skills:Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word).Flexibility to work from both an in-office setting and remotely from home in a secure location.Must have own high-speed internet at home.Typing speed: 60 wpm.Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up skills.Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for review.Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPAA, and PHI.Coding/billing experience.Additional programs utilized but prior knowledge is not required (Perceptive Content Image Now, MS Access, Adobe and Altruista Guiding Care, Excel, Teams, OneNote).
