As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key member of the team responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances. We are hiring a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Appliance Repair Technician. Specific Responsibilities Install home appliances Accurately diagnose and repair appliances in the customer's home Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced Perform other duties as needed which may include cross‑training in related positions Job Requirements High school graduate or equivalent Valid Driver's License with a clean record Must be at least 21 years of age Proficiency to navigate tablet‑based technology The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances Flexible and variable hours (no weekends) This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to turn mechanical ability into a high‑income career. Our technicians run a steady schedule of service calls daily, providing strong and consistent earning potential. Training Process Training begins in West Monroe and is primarily hands on in the field working alongside experienced technicians in real service calls. Training length depends on how quickly you learn and apply the system. Technicians who pick it up quickly move out of training faster. After training, technicians operate in a service territory near their home city. If you enjoy diagnosing problems and fixing equipment, you will do well in this role. Pay Structure Paid Training: $17 to $19 per hour during initial training Most technicians move out of training quickly based on performance and ability Faster learners advance sooner and increase earnings faster After Training: Most technicians earn $25 to $35 per hour equivalent Company vehicle provided after training Steady year‑round work This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get out of a low paying hourly job and into a higher income career.
