Registered Nurse - Cardiac Medical Unit

Location: Manchester, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Medical Unit. This unit specializes in the care of patients with various cardiac conditions, including hemodynamically stable myocardial infarctions, acute and chronic heart failure, new onset atrial fibrillation, and stable dysrhythmias. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and IV therapies, including cardiac drips.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and manage potential dysrhythmias.
• Assist in cardiac procedures such as catheterizations, ablations, and cardioversions.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding their cardiac health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.
• Experience with cardiac medical and procedural patients preferred.
