Field IT Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSUMMARY:The Field IT Technician provides technical support for the purpose of maintaining the availability and reliability of network, PC (desktops and laptops) and software problems to resolutions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Possesses outstanding technical knowledge, which will enable one to install, modify, monitor, test and troubleshoot Pay-O-Matic Corp. stores and HQ office computer hardware and software and network problems.Provides technical support for the purpose of maintaining, installing and/or replacing equipment in the stores.Preps and tag new equipment for the field/stores.Visits stores/field for repairs and troubleshooting if necessary.Performs software and hardware upgrades and roll-outs as directed by manager.Enters Troubleshooting calls into the help desk system (ServicePRO).Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available to drive to stores, as most of the job duties will be performed in the field/stores.Performs other duties, including special projects as assigned by manager.QUALIFICATIONS:At least one year of related experience.Strong written & verbal communications skills.
