Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for perioperative care, including pre-op assessment, consent verification, and allergy checks.
- Assist during surgical procedures as part of the operative team, maintaining sterile technique and accurate instrument counts.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and circulating staff to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and respond to changes in condition as needed.
- Support postoperative hand-off and charting to ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and professional nursing standards in all perioperative activities.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse (RN) license
- OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week in a fast-paced perioperative setting
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- RN degree from an accredited program
