Construction Recruiter - Skilled Trades & Field Operations

We're looking for an experienced Construction Recruiter to lead high-volume hiring efforts for skilled trades and field personnel while expanding our employer brand through social media and digital recruiting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume construction positions including laborers, carpenters, equipment operators, concrete crews, foremen, and other field personnel.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Develop and execute creative recruiting campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Create engaging recruiting content including job advertisements, videos, employee spotlights, and hiring campaigns.
• Screen, interview, and qualify candidates for open positions.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and assist throughout the hiring process.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Attend job fairs, trade schools, community events, and hiring events to promote employment opportunities.
• Track recruiting metrics, hiring progress, and candidate activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Partner with operations and field leadership to understand workforce needs and staffing priorities.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or industrial industries.
• Experience recruiting high volumes of hourly field employees and laborers.
• Proven success sourcing candidates through social media platforms.
• Strong understanding of recruiting strategies beyond job postings.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Facebook Jobs, and other sourcing platforms.
• Ability to prioritize multiple openings while meeting hiring deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for commercial or residential construction companies.
• Knowledge of construction trades and industry terminology.
• Experience with employment branding and digital marketing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
