Infection Preventionist-LPN Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have Infection Preventionist Certification
- At least 1 year long-term care and skilled nursing experience as an Infection Preventionist
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
- Recognize change in the patient's condition and intervene appropriately
- Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.

- REQUIRES ONE WEEKEND PER MONTH
