As an Infection Preventionist-LPN on our team, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our extended family. In turn, we are dedicated to ensuring our team of caregivers feel the same compassion provided to the residents.

Infection Preventionist-LPN Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Associates Degree in Nursing

Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse

Must have Infection Preventionist Certification

At least 1 year long-term care and skilled nursing experience as an Infection Preventionist

Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice

Recognize change in the patient's condition and intervene appropriately

Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes

Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames

Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues

Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.

REQUIRES ONE WEEKEND PER MONTH
