Staff Communications Manager, Global Total Rewards

Overview

Intuit’s Global Total Rewards team enables Intuit’s workforce to effectively engage with a diverse portfolio of compensation and benefit programs designed to support their overall wellbeing. To deliver on this mission, we're seeking a creative and experienced communications professional to help manage, design, and implement high-impact Total Rewards communications to drive measurable engagement and outcomes across our diverse employee base.

 In this role you will partner with the Total Rewards team to bring health, welfare, wellbeing, and compensation initiatives to life in new and engaging ways for our employees.  You're a talented communicator and storyteller with the ability to create compelling narratives that foster and reinforce an emotional connection. You’re a proven collaborator and excel at working with and earning trust across a wide, matrixed, and multi-stakeholder group. You have experience driving initiatives, digging into the details, and finding solutions in an often ambiguous environment. You advocate for the employee experience and work backwards to ensure Intuit’s Total Rewards programs shine and meet the needs of our employees.

Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Strategic Communications and Campaigns:Â

• Define Total Rewards communication plans and compelling narratives that resonate with a global audience and drive engagement.Â

• Draw connections across compensation and benefits to tell a cohesive Total Rewards message.

• Manage the communications roadmap and calendar, drive key deliverables, and ensure Total Rewards messaging is inclusive, relevant, and aligned with business goals.

• Lead communication planning and campaign development for major initiatives, such as annual benefits enrollment, new program/vendor implementations, benefit changes, and compensation award cycles.Â

Partnership and Planning:Â

• Partner effectively across the Total Rewards team, Â Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to ensure communications are in sync with other messages being delivered to employees.

• Align on objectives, themes, channels, messaging, and success measures with partners and leaders.

• Engage in active listening and reconcile divergent perspectives.

• Navigate a multi-stakeholder, matrixed, and ambiguous environment.

• Effectively manage external consultants to augment our team.

Content and Digital Management:Â

• Develop and manage consistent Total Rewards program content across multiple platforms and formats that touch the employee life cycle, such as onboarding materials, policies, and intranet content.Â

• Evolve our digital footprint and experience through AI and done-for-you experiences that best support employees.

Â

Operational Consistency and Measurement:Â

• Support the communications leader in defining and tracking performance/success metrics, providing recurring program updates, and delivering recommendations and ad-hoc reporting to leadership.

• Develop processes and mechanisms to ensure consistency across all Total Rewards communications, including vendor-led communications.Â

• Creatively use AI to achieve efficiencies.

Qualifications

Key relevant experience:Â

• 8 or more years of professional experience in internal communications. Total Rewards (compensation and benefits) communication experience preferred.

• Complexity: Leading impactful, multi-touch, cross-functional, and transformational communication projects within a large, complex organization.

• Channels: Developing creative, effective approaches to reaching a diverse, remote, and mobile workforce.

• Global audience: Working globally and managing communications across multiple countries.

• Clarity and simplicity: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and minimize complexity and technical jargon from employee communications.

Required skills:Â

• Project management: Strong organizational skills and proven program management covering multiple projects and diverse goals.

• Strong writer: Writes with laser-sharp clarity and attention to detail. Able to revise complex content into a more user friendly style that enables broad employee understanding.

• Technical: Expertise with CMS platforms and leveraging AI tools to scale content creation and personalization.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• Periodic business travel may be required.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:Â

Mountain View, CA Â Â $163,500-$221,500

San Diego, CA Â Â Â Â Â $153,500-$207,500
