This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.As the Materials Manager for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will be responsible for logistics and supply chain management processes. You will also lead the YES Shipping Technicians as they manage all inbound and outbound freight.Primary Responsibilities:Oversee/coordinate all in-bound and customer supplied equipment for reception valued $200 million along with project related parts valued $20 million.Maintain inventory listing daily of "all" equipment and parts for packaging valued $220 million. 5s application for multiple sites.Oversee/coordinate all out-bound packaging.Acute collaboration with Project Management team fortifying ready to ship dates are never missed.Daily collaboration with PM's follow up on BOM, specifically on "long lead" items and "back order" parts and equipment.Weekly inspection ensuring all assets both customer supplied, job related parts and equipment are properly stored, sealed, covered appropriately preventing any type of damage specifically, weather related.When necessary, facilitate any equipment rental needed for loading, un-loading, moving, re-arranging "all" equipment and parts while in Yancey Engineered Solutions possession.Behave, create, and maintain behaviors in compliance with Yancey Bros. core values: SAFETY-INTEGRITY-TEAMWORK-EXCELLENCE-SENSE OF URGENCY.Collaborate with QC Team inbound inspections of "all" equipment and parts.DOT & CDL compliance.Supervision 10-15 team members.Additional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.To be successful in this position you should have prior leadership experience and deep understanding of the EPG packaging design business. This position also requires someone who has strong accountability and initiative.
