Ultrasound Tech PositionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech to join our Primary Care/Urgent Care clinic in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in a patient-centered environment, assisting our clinical team with accurate diagnostics to ensure the best possible care. We offer flexible scheduling options with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.Responsibilities include:Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as ordered by healthcare providers, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations, prioritizing patient comfort, safety, and adherence to imaging protocols.Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and accuracy for diagnostic imaging.Assist clinical staff with patient intake, history collection, and record management, ensuring proper documentation in the EHR/EMR system.Provide patients with clear, concise instructions about procedures while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach to care.Maintain accurate and organized records of ultrasound procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.Monitor and maintain ultrasound supplies, ordering replacements as necessary to ensure smooth workflow.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and imaging standards, following established protocols and regulatory guidelines.Qualifications:Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program.Certification: "Diagnostic Medical Sonography" certification is required.Experience: Previous experience in an Urgent Care or Primary Care setting is preferred but not required.Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills; proficiency in medical imaging software and EHR/EMR systems.Benefits include:Competitive hourly rate based on experienceFull benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and holidaysRetirement savings planThis is an excellent opportunity for an Ultrasound Technologist looking to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment focused on high-quality patient care.
