Role Overview This position involves providing high-quality, virtual medical care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care. Physicians will conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, prescribe medications (excluding most controlled substances), order tests, and collaborate with a support team to ensure comprehensive care. The role emphasizes patient-centered, compassionate treatment and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Opportunities for hybrid in-person care may also be available. The role emphasizes patient-centered, compassionate treatment and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Opportunities for hybrid in-person care may also be available. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional virtual care through assessments and treatment planning. Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for addiction, within regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff. Maintain thorough medical documentation. Stay informed on telehealth advancements and best practices. Qualifications & Skills Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses. Experience in telehealth or high-volume clinical settings. DEA certification and applicable state licenses. Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence. Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided). Availability for at least 15 hours weekly, preferably spread over four days.
