Property Manager

Habitat America, LLC, a growing property management company, seeks an experienced, professional Full-Time Property Manager for Telstar Court, a brand new lease up apartment community! This community will be made up of 80 multi family tax credit units. Site will be delivered January 1st, 2027-but looking to bring a Manager on board now to begin lease up preparations. Habitat America, LLC is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Property Manager is the face of any property and therefore it is imperative that candidates are trustworthy, have excellent customer service skills, written and oral communications skills and an attention to detail. Responsibilities include leasing and marketing, compliance, operations, resident relations and staff management. To be considered for this position, candidates must have least 3+ years of prior property management experience as a tax credit Community Manager. TCS and other like certifications are strongly preferred. The candidate for this position must possess an upbeat demeanor and can do attitude. Affordable housing experience required for this role. E.O.E. 3+ years experience as a Tax Credit Property Manager Lease up experience desired! Tax Credit file/compliance experience required Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or like certification is a plus Must have excellent communications skills and customer service skills Must be able to work independently, and still be able to take directions given. Yardi software experience is a plus! Experience with reviewing monthly operating statements for accuracy, budget to actual variances and bottom line cash flow control.
