What this job involves: As an Assistant Property Manager at JLL, you will play a vital supporting role in the daily operations of an Office property or portfolio. As an administrative leader, you will oversee the property in the absence of the Property Manager or General Manager. Additionally, you’ll work closely with tenants, vendors and engineers, and learn valuable skills while drafting vital financial reports. This position is a great learning opportunity and can serve as a springboard to leadership roles in Property Management at JLL. This person will be working onsite at two Class A buildings on the same campus, totalling approximately 500,000 rsf. What your day-to-day will look like: Overseeing property administration, ensuring prompt response times and effective resolution to maintain strong tenant relationships. Support financial operations including invoice processing, budget tracking, and preparation of monthly operating reports and variance analyses. Oversee maintenance work orders with engineering teams and external contractors, writing contracts and overseeing the full contract life cycle to maintain high property standards. Conduct regular property walks and inspections to identify maintenance needs, ensure compliance with safety standards, and address any operational issues. Assist with leasing and analyse lease documentation including document preparation and abstracting. Support property management operations by completing additional tasks as required to comply with Property Management Agreements and local ordinances. On-site presence required Schedule Monday to Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Communications, or related field Real Estate license required within 6 months of hire date 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate or property management including budget preparation, financial reporting, invoicing, familiarity with building systems, commercial leasing and documentation, and administration Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically and effectively Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with property management software systems such as Yardi and Kardin. Estimated compensation for this position: Estimated compensation for this position: 75,000.00 – 85,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
