Production General Laborer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production General Laborer to join their team. As a Production General Laborer, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, mechanical aptitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production General Laborer

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay Range: Starting at $19.00 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Assist machine operators with production activities and shop support tasks
• Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and supplies
• Operate basic shop equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Move materials throughout the facility using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)
• Deburr, clean, grind, and inspect machined parts as required

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or machine shop experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong work ethic and good attendance record
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
