Local Content Creator (& Multimedia Journalist) We’re looking for confident, self-sufficient storytellers, reporters, journalists, creators, and media personalities who can help us create fast-moving local content every day.
Whether you come from broadcast television, digital media, journalism, TikTok, YouTube, or UGC-style content creation, we want people who know how to capture attention, tell real stories, and create engaging content quickly. This is not a traditional influencer role.We’re building a network of modern local media personalities who can operate like a one-person digital newsroom, shooting, reporting, editing, and publishing content directly from the field. The Role
- Serve as an on-camera personality and local market storyteller.
- Create fast, social-first content around storms, outages, weather, homeowner experiences, local events, and community stories.
- Operate as your own one-person production crew using an iPhone, tripod, microphone, drone, or lightweight production setup.
- Capture, edit, and deliver content quickly for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create content that feels authentic, conversational, engaging, and native to social media.
- Deliver both short-form UGC-style videos and local news-style reporting packages.
- POV-style TikToks and Reels
- Storm preparedness content

- Homeowner interviews and experiences

- Dependable transportation and local market familiarity
- Broadcast journalism experience
- Previous TV/media experience
- A strong TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube presence
- UGC/content creator experience
- Drone experience
- Short-form editing skills
- Experience creating social-first storytelling content
- This is a fast-moving content environment.
- Storm hits? Big local story? Promotion launches?
- We may need content SAME DAY.
