ROLE - SPECIALTY

SCHEDULE
Shift: 8 hours

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

REQUIREMENTS
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist - Required
- Proof of current CPR certification - Required
- Current driver's license - Required
- Reliable transportation and insurance - Required
- Two years experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting - Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness for care.
- Document and revise the Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records on an ongoing basis.
- Assess and facilitate patients' functional mobility and safety issues related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Evaluate patient performance in self-care, work, leisure, and rest, addressing sensory-motor, psycho-social, and cognitive components of occupational behavior.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding patient status.
- Promote compliance with third-party payers through education and assistance as necessary.
