The firm handles a variety of insurance defense and civil litigation matters. The attorney will defend insurance claims across construction, premises liability, statutory violations, auto accidents, contract disputes, and general litigation. The role involves legal research, motion practice, depositions, hearings, trials, settlement negotiations, and client communication. Strong knowledge of procedural law and statutory research. Experience handling party, treating provider, and expert depositions. Trial preparation and courtroom experience. Strong legal research and writing skills; Westlaw proficiency. Excellent negotiation and client communication skills. Ability to manage cases, deadlines, and multiple priorities. Knowledge of legal billing software and case management. Proficiency with Word, Adobe, and Outlook. Illinois bar admission required. Knowledge of insurance coverage is a plus.
