Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience License: New Hampshire or compact RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Must-Have: EPIC experience, a vehicle for transportation Description: Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the weekend after. Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after. New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the weekend after. This role involves providing nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle, utilizing knowledge of age-related growth and development. Nurses should function in accordance with the nursing philosophy, objectives, standards of care, and standards of practice. Must be comfortable with drips and vents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively is essential. The key to Emergency Medical Services is the relationship between Emergency Department staff and responders. Collaboration between pre-hospital, emergency department, and in-hospital personnel is crucial. Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified during the submission process. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travel pairs will be considered but must be able to work different shifts and have transport to the facility. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be collected and verified upon acceptance of the offer. Profile must include a work history document. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after the offer may lead to rescinded opportunities.
