About the Position

Patients served include those with heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and those who have undergone cardiothoracic surgeries. The unit has a blended structure, featuring intensive care and intermediate care. The team is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to a diverse community. Nurses are specially trained for cardiovascular care and encouraged to pursue advanced certification. A robust training program is available for various levels of expertise in cardiovascular intensive care. Required skills include management of arterial lines, ventilators, and chest tubes. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in vital sign monitoring and medication administration. Experience in caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction is essential. The unit supports an interdisciplinary approach, involving collaboration with various healthcare professionals. A focus on continuous improvement and mentoring is emphasized within the team.
