Junior AccountantWe are looking for a junior accountant on a contract-to-hire basis.Job Summary:Role Overview: We are seeking a Junior Accountant with approximately 2 years of accounting experience to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who is looking to continue developing their skills in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and post journal entriesPerform bank and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as neededMaintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentationResearch and resolve account discrepanciesAssist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and account analysisSupport financial reporting and preparation of accounting schedulesMaintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standardsAssist with audit requests and other accounting projects as neededDesired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredApproximately 2+ years of accounting experienceNetSuite experience heavily preferredSolid understanding of general accounting principlesExperience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closeProficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPS)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
