Senior Property Accountant

Senior Property Accountant | Houston, TX Hunington Properties is growing, and our Retail Accounting team is looking for a sharp, experienced Senior Property Accountant to join us. Full-cycle property accounting — P&L, balance sheet, bank reconciliations, and journal entries Annual CAM reconciliations and tenant billing adjustments with full supporting documentation AP review, invoice coding, and payment processing through AvidXchange New lease setup and processing in Rent Manager upon execution Monthly financial reporting and annual budget preparation for assigned properties Direct collaboration with Property Managers to resolve tenant and operational accounting matters Onboard team members onto new platforms and tools; escalate access or system issues as needed Assist leadership in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and department growth initiatives 3–5+ years in commercial or retail real estate accounting Hands-on experience with Rent Manager, Yardi, or a similar platform AvidXchange or equivalent AP automation experience Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, multi-tab financial models Strong communicator who follows through, closes the loop, and takes ownership Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Hunington Properties, Inc.
