Field Service Engineer 2

GE HealthCare

Field Service Engineer II will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on diagnostic imaging equipment including MR, CT, NM, and PET systems within the Birmingham, AL service region. The role operates on a second shift schedule, Monday-Friday, noon to 9 pm, with on-call availability required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on imaging equipment in hospital/healthcare settings
Maintain customer relationships and ensure timely communication and resolution of service issues
Adhere to company policies and hospital protocols; document all work and parts ordering

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years medical equipment service experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years experience
Minimum 2 years experience servicing imaging equipment
Valid driver's license and legal U.S. work authorization
Ability to work 2nd shift (noon-9 pm) and rotating on-call schedule including weekends
Physical capability to lift 35 lbs unassisted and perform frequent bending, climbing, crouching, and standing
MR, CT, NM, PET experience preferred
