Associate Creative Director, CopyThe Associate Creative Director, Copy (ACD, Copy) works with teams of art directors, copywriters, and strategists to conceive and execute a variety of communication projects through a wide range of media. The Associate Creative Director is responsible for ensuring that design, copy and UX are greater than the sum of their parts and ladder up to strategic insights on all projects that they lead.Experience in Market Access/Patient Support requiredWhat you'll doDeliver breakthrough creative work, while influencing your peersLead projects from conception to completion, including crafting outlines, first manuscripts per strategic and creative guidelines of the brandReference, annotate, prepare a document for editorial fact check and LMR review (preparing annotated, highlighted reference packs) based on client-specific and AMA stylePresent to clientsDefend pieces at LMR meetingsCheck changes during routes, resolving queriesUnderstand strategic and financial goals for clients and AHMaster the clinical data and competitive landscape associated with your brands/accountActively participate in staffing and evaluating the scope of workChampion creativity by frequently sharing inspiring workDevelop and/or strengthen client relationshipsShare the spotlight so that junior creatives can shineManage delegation and workflow on multiple projects/brandsEmpower others to reach their full potentialManage multiple teams and multiple work streams efficiently, effectively, and profitablyCommunicate actively with project teams to keep deliverables on track and on scheduleAbout youBachelor's Degree in advertising, marketing, writing or equivalent area of study (preferred but not required)Experience in market access/patient support writing preferredExperience in leading teams and mentoring junior creativesMinimum 9 years creative copywriting experience, with at least 3 years in writing for pharmaPharmaceutical and/or medical device experience requiredDemonstrates ability to direct writing and design of interactive, motion and print projects.Strong customer service skills with a commitment to superior qualityMust be self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skillsCan share a digital portfolio that includes a wide range of interactive work across multi-media channels and platformsAdvanced PC or Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite$120,000 - $175,000 a yearWhat we can offerYou will receive a 401K plan with an employer match contribution up to 4% (immediately vested), as well as life insurance, disability coverage, and medical, dental, and vision plans for peace of mind.
