Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with experience supporting Microsoft environments and end users in a fast-paced enterprise setting. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, identity management, and cloud-based technologies while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, and Autopilot, along with strong troubleshooting skills across desktop infrastructure.

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for Windows-based laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
• Support and administer Active Directory, including user account creation, password resets, group management, and permissions.
• Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint support.
• Utilize Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) for user identity and access management.
• Assist with Azure administration and support of cloud-based resources.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to support business requirements.
• Use PowerShell to automate routine administrative tasks and assist with system management.
• Handle workstation deployments, upgrades, imaging, and lifecycle management.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures within the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to maintain system compliance and performance.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple support requests and priorities.

• 2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or IT support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in a Microsoft enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure services.
• Experience managing devices through Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.

• Experience with endpoint security and device compliance policies.
• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, MS-900, AZ-900, or related certifications.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Salt Lake City,UT.
