Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the survey department
• Coordinate and schedule field crews and office staff
• Manage project workloads, timelines, and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain quality control and adherence to internal standards
• Assist in project planning, proposals, and scope development
• Support field teams with logistics, equipment, and staffing coordination
• Drive process improvements in survey workflows and technology

Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience in land surveying operations, coordination, or project management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Knowledge of boundary, topographic, construction staking, and ALTA surveys
• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Trimble preferred
• Professional Land Surveyor certification is a plus but not mandatory
