Vascular Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Ultrasound Technologist or Vascular Sonographer (ARDMS or CCI).
• Proven experience performing vascular ultrasound procedures, including arterial and venous exams.
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and familiar with PACS/RIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic techniques pertaining to vascular studies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and clinical team members.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality vascular ultrasound exams on patients as requested by physicians.
• Analyze sonographic findings and accurately document results for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and referring clinicians on exam protocols and findings.
• Ensure imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and utilized according to established standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all compliance, quality, and safety guidelines.
• Support patient comfort, answer questions, and provide instructions before, during, and after the procedures.
• Participate in ongoing department training and quality improvement initiatives.

$2,071 - $2,285/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 35 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
