Imaging Professional Specializing In Vascular Ultrasound

An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Professional specializing in Vascular Ultrasound. This position is ideal for a skilled Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer with proven abilities in vascular studies, looking to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced, supportive clinical environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification in Vascular Technology required
• Proven expertise in both routine and advanced vascular ultrasound procedures, including arterial and venous duplex imaging
• Minimum of one year recent experience working as a Vascular or Ultrasound Technologist
• Strong patient care, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Expected Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies and ensure accurate image capture for diagnostic interpretation
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians, providing technical assistance and ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain and prepare ultrasound equipment; troubleshoot and identify equipment issues as needed
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the medical record system
• Prioritize patient safety and satisfaction, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
• Adhere to all infection control and quality assurance protocols
