Hiring Pre-K Special Education Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year

Location: Sumter, SC
Contract Position

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated Pre-K Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position serving a developmental delay (DD) Pre-K classroom in Sumter, South Carolina. There is currently one opening available. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children with developmental delays and be prepared to provide specialized instruction and support in an onsite school-based setting.

Job Details:
2026–2027 School Year

Hours: Full-Time – 37.5 Hours/Week

Grades: Pre-K – 3-Year-Old DD Program

Setting: School-Based / Onsite Only

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: May 21, 2027

Job Qualifications:
Active South Carolina Special Education teaching license required

Early Childhood endorsement required

Experience working with PreK students preferred

Experience supporting students with developmental delays preferred

Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to develop and implement individualized instruction and support student IEP goals

Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, related service providers, and school staff

Commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
