Dropship Program Manager

Support Center - IrvingUnder the supervision of the eCommerce Merchandising Director, the Dropship Program Manager will be responsible for the analysis and execution of Pricing/Promotion tactics while also recommending assortment strategies to ensure that targeted revenue and margin goals are met. This team member will develop and use analytics tools to draw insights and provide actionable recommendations related to pricing and merchandising. This team member will manage dropship pricing & promotions for Michaels.com and Michaels.ca (when launched), so to be successful, strong analytical skills and creative thinking are vital. Proven leadership and collaboration skills are required to create strong cross functional relationships with Merchandising, Pricing and eCommerce Merchandising teams.Major ActivitiesPricingAccountable for Dropship promotional revenue and margin attainment that directly impacts the total company revenue and marginIdentify new, inventive marketing ideas that leverage product assortments, promotions, and special incentives to drive traffic and profitable salesIdentify and solve dropship profitability issues, ultimately working towards steady-state positive Operating Income for the dropship businessDevelop tools to manage and streamline analysis and other pricing processesManage the ideation, execution and maintenance of the dropship promotional calendarPresent findings to executives, marketing teams, and merchants through weekly or monthly meetingsMerchandisingConduct analyses to identify opportunities in the online dropship assortment that eCommerce merchants can utilizeSynthesize and present competitive intelligence to eCommerce merchants; recommend ideas based on data and competitive researchAnalyze site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve merchandising and the customer experience across the site and various product categoriesCo-establish eCommerce revenue and margin forecastsOther duties as assignedMinimum EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills 6+ years of experience in digital merchandising or eCommerce Program management experience Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools Experience with eCommerce platforms and merchandising tactics Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred EducationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fieldApplicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.At The Michaels Companies Inc., our purpose is to fuel the joy of creativity and celebration.
