changing the industry! Our auto repair shop has an immediate opening for a Mechanic Assistant. Under
the direction of our senior mechanic, you will assist with car maintenance jobs.
You must be familiar with the general workings of a car engine. Our ideal
candidate has some experience with fixing and maintaining vehicles, but we are
willing to train the right person. Responsibilities:
* Assist with basic maintenance tasks on customer vehicles
* Keeps work area clean and safe
* Moves cars in and out of the bay area
* Other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED certificate
* Completion of an auto repair program (preferred, but not required)
* Experience with hand and power tools
* Willing to learn
* Must be dependable and punctual
* Valid Driver's license
