Data Management Analyst

OverviewTactica Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Management Analyst to support a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics & Engineering (G-4) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust data systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, process automation, and database management, and will be adept at transforming complex datasets into actionable insights for leadership. Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize Palantir's Foundry and Microsoft's Power Platform to design and maintain full data lifecycles (e.g., collection, engineering, and reporting). Study, document, and transition complex legacy processes to ensure business continuity and identify opportunities for modernization. Build data pipelines and code repositories to combine and analyze datasets from SAP and other enterprise sources. Develop systems to plan, track, and validate large-scale financial and logistical data across multiple functional areas and fiscal years. Engineer databases to automate data collection, ensure data uniformity, track auditable actions, and facilitate analysis. Create insightful and dynamic reporting dashboards to support executive reviews and data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather project requirements and ensure steady progress and clear communication. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Five (5) to seven (7) years of professional experience as a data analyst or similar data-focused role. Experience creating interactive reports using modern data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Proficiency in coding (e.g., Python, SQL, R) to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. Experience designing databases and user-interfaces to collect data and automate workflows. Strong ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights and present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Active U.S. government issued security clearance at the appropriate level for the duration of the contract Period of Performance. U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Proficiency in Microsoft's Power Platform Experience with Palantir's Foundry - specifically MAVEN, Vantage, or APAS. Familiarity with military supply chain, logistics, or financial management systems (e.g., GFEBS, GCSS-Army). Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines. Job Location Redstone Arsenal, Alabama Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
